Privacy notice
Brightside Electrical uses the information supplied in quote requests to respond to enquiries, discuss projects and arrange service. Private website feedback is used to understand customer experiences and respond where appropriate.
Information supplied through the forms
The forms collect the name, contact details and project or feedback information entered by the visitor. A quote requires a phone number or email address. Feedback includes a separate, optional publication-permission choice. Please do not include payment details or other sensitive information.
How submissions are handled
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. When online submissions are available, Cloudflare processes them and sends them to Ryan Johnston at ryan.brightsideelectrical@gmail.com, whose inbox is provided by Google. These providers may process information outside Canada. Successful submission means the email service accepted the message; it does not guarantee that Ryan has read it.
The website does not keep a separate copy of the full enquiry or feedback message. It keeps a temporary technical receipt to prevent duplicate sending, containing a reference, timestamps, delivery status and a message fingerprint. These receipts are scheduled for deletion after 36 hours. A visitor's browser stores a reference and fingerprint for the current session; it does not store the message or contact details for delivery.
Network information is processed for security and rate limiting. Application delivery logs contain technical references and statuses, not message text or contact details. Correspondence that reaches Ryan is handled in his email inbox. Contact Ryan about access, corrections, deletion or the handling of an existing enquiry.
Feedback and testimonials
Private feedback can be submitted without agreeing to publication. Permission and owner approval are both required before feedback is used publicly. Customer email addresses and phone numbers are not published. Submitting website feedback does not post a Google review.
Marketing and measurement
Submitting a quote or feedback does not subscribe the visitor to marketing or trigger automatic customer emails. No website analytics provider is currently configured. The website's interaction events exclude customer names, contact details and message text.
